A continuing care village by Landis Communities
Established in 1964, Landis Homes, located near Lititz, PA, is a not-for-profit retirement community which is home to over 850 persons living in cottages, apartments, suites, personal care and healthcare. Another 100 persons are served on a weekly basis in one of the two adult day services centers on the 114-acre campus, which is surrounded by Lancaster County farmland.
Cottages are beautifully landscaped and offer residents an independent lifestyle with freedom from the responsibilities of home ownership.
Apartments provide residents ease of living with the comfort of staying indoors to take advantage of community activities and conveniences.
Hybrid Homes provide residents with a new housing option that combines the best of cottage and apartment living
Suites offer privacy and independence while providing residents with dining, laundry and housekeeping services.
Personal Care gives residents support with personal grooming, daily activities and medications so they may remain as self-sufficient as possible. Personal Care households are Aspen, Birch, and Cedar.
Healthcare is for residents who need 24-hour supervision under the direction of a registered nurse. Healthcare households are Oregon, Manheim, and Ephrata.
Memory Support in The Heritage provides individual programming, security and nurture for residents with memory loss. Residents live in one of three houses based on their required level of support. Lititz is a Personal Care household, while Lancaster our Healthcare household.
Who We Are

Landis Homes is an affiliate of Landis Communities.
Landis Homes is unique among retirement communities in Lancaster County in being accredited by CARF, which confirms that the highest national standards for quality of health programs, resident life, financial strength and administration are met.
Volunteerism is strong with over 300 persons serving annually, both on and off campus.
Approximately 100 persons are served on a weekly basis in one of the two Adult Day Services centers on campus, one specifically for memory support.
The Heritage Memory Support center serves persons with memory loss and their families.
A Children’s Learning Center provides childcare and education for more than 50 infant through preschool age children.
Landis at Home provides personal care and a range of support services to adults and their families who live on campus or in the surrounding community.
Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning is a learning opportunity for older adults offering classes on a wide range of topics.
